Kangaroo Hitmen & Credit Card Karma In “Gun”

Producers Gabe and Alan Polsky (“Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans”) have optioned the film rights to Jonathan Lethem’s 1994 cult novel “Gun, With Occasional Music” says The Hollywood Reporter.

The sci-fi noir tale follows an archetypal private eye through Oakland and San Francisco as he delves into the murder of a prominent urologist.

Amongst the elements in play are super-smart children called “baby-heads,” erotic nerve swapping, debit cards holding one’s karma and a menacing kangaroo that works for the mob.
