Commercials helmer Justin Reardon will make his feature directing debut on the comedy “Convention” reports Deadline.
Taking place at a national packaging convention, the story follows an underachieving inventor who unveils his latest creation–the five-sided box.
It seems like a game-changing innovation, until the inventor learns that each time he makes the special fold involved in assembling the box, he’s ripping a small hole in the universe. If the invention takes hold, it mightl end the world.
Christopher Painter (“The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius”) penned the script while Paul Schiff and Tai Duncan will produce. Shooting kicks off in the Fall.
