Justin Marks (“Green Arrow: Escape From Supermax,” “Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li”) will pen an adaptation of a cult horror comic book “Hack/Slash” for Rogue Pictures reports the trades.
The story centers on Cassie Hack, a woman who travels to small towns across the country hunting homicidal maniacs and serial killers along the way.
She is partnered on her journey with Vlad, a hulking companion who serves as her protector. Lincoln wrote the initial draft with Martin Schenk. Ben Magid also worked on the script.
Music video director Todd Lincoln is on board to helm the project which Adrian Askarieh and Daniel Alter (“Hitman”) will produce.
