First introduced in Japan in 1996, more than 279 million Pokemon video games have sold worldwide along with 21.5 billion TCG cards and an animated series spanning twenty seasons. This take follows a new character and storyline in the Pokemon universe.

“Goosebumps” director Rob Letterman is set to direct from a script by “Guardians of the Galaxy” writer Nicole Perlman and “Gravity Falls” creator Alex Hirsch. Smith will be seen next year in “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”.
