“The Get Down” and “Paper Towns” star Justice Smith has joined the cast of J.A. Bayona’s upcoming “Jurassic World” sequel which goes into production in March ahead of a June 22nd 2018 release.
Smith will play a scientist in the film which boasts a script by Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly. Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Toby Jones and Rafe Spall are confirmed to star and B.D. Wong is likely to return as well.
In related news, one of the single biggest criticisms about the first film has been amusingly addressed. Bryce Dallas Howard’s Claire character became infamous for wearing high heels throughout the whole film including scenes where she’s running away from giant dinosaurs.
Today, Trevorrow posted a piece of concept art from the film that pokes fun at the much debated about footwear. The art confirms the character has swapped over to much more practical boots for the new entry which Frank Marshall and Steven Spielberg will produce.
