“Jurassic,” “Friday,” “Inhumans” Set Start Dates

Several high-profile projects have just set their filming schedules.

First up, director J.A. Bayona has sent out the first photo for the upcoming “Jurassic World” sequel ahead of the film’s shoot. At last report, filming begins in February in Hawaii and the photo would suggest everything is on track.

Next, Bloody Disgusting says the new “Friday the 13th” reboot is currently casting with plans to start production in March in Conyers, Georgia.

No cast has yet been announced, but the production is said to be seeking twins to play the twelve-year-old version of Jason. The shoot will take place just a few miles from where the sixth film in the old franchise, one of its most well-regarded, was shot.

Finally, Reel News Hawaii says that filming on Marvel’s “Inhumans” project will shoot several episodes on the islands in June ahead of the show’s September premiere. Filming will also take place in Chicago and Los Angeles.
