Jason Bateman and Allison Janney have signed on to co-star in Mandate Pictures’ comedy “Juno” for Fox Searchlight Pictures says The Hollywood Reporter.
The pair will join Jennifer Garner and Michael Cera in the coming-of-age story being helmed by Jason Reitman and penned by Diablo Cody.
Ellen Page stars as Juno, a high school girl confronted with a teenage pregnancy. Bateman will play the emotionally stunted husband of Garner, the woman who is interested in adopting Juno’s unborn child.
Janney will play Juno’s stepmother, and Cera will play Juno’s loyal best friend who is responsible for her pregnancy. The film is shooting in Vancouver.
