Julianne Moore has joined the cast of Richard Glatzer and Wash Westmoreland’s drama “Still Alice”.
The film will be based on Harvard neuroscientist Lisa Genova’s debut novel. Moore will play Alice Howland, a fiercely independent 50-year-old Harvard psychology professor at the height of her career.
She soon begins to notice lapses in her memory and receives a diagnosis of early onset Alzheimer’s. She soon must come to terms with it and the ways in which it will change her life.
Filming begins in New York in February.
