Julia Roberts is attached to both star in and produce the film adaptation of acclaimed author Harlan Coben’s “Fool Me Once” for her Red Om Films banner.
Published last week, the story follows a former special ops pilot named Maya (Roberts) who sees an unthinkable image captured by her nanny cam while she is at work – her two-year-old daughter playing with Maya’s husband, Joe. You see, Joe was brutally murdered two weeks earlier.
Roberts, Lisa Gillan and Marisa Yeres Gill will produce. Coben’s “Tell No One” was adapted into the French film of the same name by Guillaume Canet in 2006.
