“How I Met Your Mother” lead Josh Radnor is set to team with “Martha Marcy May Marlene” star Elizabeth Olsen in the indie love story “Liberal Arts” for Tom Sawyer Entertainment and BCDF Pictures says The Hollywood Reporter.
Radnor penned the script, is directing and will play a 35 year-old man, still yearning for the life of a college student, who must come to terms with his age and responsibilities.
Olsen plays a 19-year-old college student who falls for Radnor’s character over a shared love of music and literature. She wants to make it work with him, but her immaturity makes it impossible for her to see the obvious obstacles.
Radnor made his directorial debut last year on the 2010 Sundance entry “HappyThankYouMorePlease”. Shooting on ‘Arts’ kicks off this Spring while Radnor is on break from shooting ‘Mother’.
