Josh Mond To Helm “Jake Ellis” Comic Adaptation

“James White” writer/director Josh Mond has been set to direct the film adaptation of the graphic novel “Who Is Jake Ellis?” at 20th Century Fox and Chernin Entertainment.

The story will center on Silas, who has his life turned upside down when the voice in his head, Jake Ellis, turns out to be a secret human-experimentation operation.

Silas must learn to listen to the voice to save himself, but also to figure out how he became involved in this mission and how to get the voice out.

“Hannah” scribe Seth Lochhead penned an earlier draft of the script but the project is now out to other writers. Jenno Topping and David Ready are producing.
