Josh Duhamel will not only star in but is set to make his directorial debut on “The Buddy Games” for WWE Studios.
The story follows a group of thirtysomething friends who reunite to play the Buddy Game – a wild assortment of absurd physical and mental challenges. In the process, they heal old wounds, right past wrongs and figure out the true meaning of friendship
Duhamel, who co-wrote the script with Jude Weng and Bob Schwartz, will be joined by wrestling star Seamus and Nick Swardson on screen.
Duhamel, Weng and Michael Lusi will produce. Shooting begins in August in Vancouver.
