Jordan In Talks To Join Denzels Jordan

“Black Panther” star Michael B. Jordan’s dance card keeps filling up as he’s in talks to star in the Denzel Washington-directed “A Journal for Jordan” at Sony Pictures.

Virgil Williams (“Mudbound”) adapted the script from Dana Canedy’s bestselling memoir which chronicles her love affair with First Sergeant Charles Monroe King and how he kept a journal full of poignant life lessons for their newborn son Jordan while deployed overseas.

He was killed in Iraq in 2006 when Jordan was just seven months old. Michael B. Jordan will also produce the film with Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch. He just wrapped drama “Just Mercy” and is attached to multiple other projects.
