Jones In “Rogue”, McNairy In “Batman” Rumors

They are acclaimed actors starring in two of the biggest films of 2016, yet their roles in those films are being kept top secret. New rumors have now emerged regarding the parts that Felicity Jones will play in “Star Wars: Rogue One” and Scoot McNairy will take on in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”.

First up, Heroic Hollywood (via MTMP) is rumored to be playing none other than Boba Fett’s daughter in the upcoming anthology spin-off film “Star Wars: Rogue One.” It’s a strange rumor and makes little sense considering the timeline as events in ‘Rogue’ will take place when Fett would be in his late twenties.

Less strange, but not by much, is the site’s claim that Scoot McNairy is playing Jimmy Olsen in Zack Snyder’s “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”. In this version, Olsen legs were injured when they were pinned under rubble during the climatic battle of “Man of Steel”. He now uses prosthetics, and holds no hostility towards Superman whom he sees as a hero who saved the world.
