Joker To Appear In “Batman v Superman”?

Following on from yesterday’s reports of Ben Affleck being spotted in Bruce Wayne garb on the set of the “Suicide Squad” movie, a report has emerged today that “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” will get a similar style cameo from a key member of the “Suicide Squad” cast.

Latino Review reports that a flashback scene was recently added to “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” which will show Jared Leto’s Joker beating Batman’s sidekick Jason Todd (the second Robin) to death.

The recent teaser trailer for “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” sported a Robin memorial display case which would suggest those events already happened and would add weight to the rumors that Warners is keen on getting the Red Hood villain on screen sometime in the near future.

Though filming on “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” wrapped in December, a separate sequence like this being shot as “Suicide Squad” just goes into production in Toronto sounds plausible.

Speaking of The Joker, JoBlo reports that The Joker’s actual look in the film will be slightly different from the photo released the other day:

“He’s missing scars (which we reported on a while back as mementos from his history with Batman) and the grill/teeth are a kind of WTF addition to the image. Our source elaborates that he’s scarred on his back and arms and his skin is definitely whiter than what we see below. The tattoos are brand new if even real, and may have been added to cover up the areas where his scars will be.”

Whether that report is true or not will probably be confirmed by set pics in coming days.
