“Joker” Script Coalesces As “Justice” Screens

More updates on the DC Extended Universe, starting with the Joker origin film with Variety’s Justin Kroll saying the film’s script will be turned in next week and indicates the project is on a fast track. Todd Phillips helms and Martin Scorsese produces the project which looks to be aiming for a 2018 shoot.

Next up, “Justice League” which test screened the other night. Reports are that, though Jesse Eisenberg filmed scenes as Lex Luthor, he doesn’t appear in the final (or near-final) film.

One DC character who is making an appearance outside of their own franchise is Wonder Woman with confirmation she will also be featured in the DCEU event film “Flashpoint”. Robert Zemeckis remains a front runner to direct that project

“Justice League” is set to open on November 17th.
