Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment have confirmed that their upcoming “Joker” movie, starring Joaquin Phoenix, is set to premiere in cinemas on October 4th 2019. That date puts it up against Ang Lee’s “Gemini Man” and the Amy Adams-led “The Woman in the Window”.
That isn’t the only release date change announced today with Sony Pictures shaking up its release slate starting with horror film “Slender Man” which has moved up from August 24th to August 10th.
As a result, the John Cho-led thriller “Searching” moves to a limited release on August 24th before expanding wide on August 31st.
Next up, Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon A Time in Hollywood” has moved up two weeks to July 26th 2019, the “Zombieland” sequel will open October 11th, and Greta Gerwig’s “Little Women” remake is set for Xmas Day 2019.
FInally, the Vin Diesel-led Valiant Comics adaptation “Bloodshoot” will open in cinemas February 21st 2020.
