Johnson Won’t Return For Next “Jurassic World”

Jake Johnson says that despite his scene-stealing turn in last year’s “Jurassic World,” his character of techie Lowery Cruthers will not be returning for the upcoming sequel despite surviving the first film.

Johnson tweeted this week that: “From what I hear Lowery will not be in JW2” when asked directly if he’s coming back.

J.A. Bayona is directing the untitled sequel with a script from Colin Trevorrow & Derek Connolly. Filming aims to begin early next year with a June 22nd 2018 release targeted.
