“FlashForward” and “Star Trek” star John Cho tells Collider that a third “Harold & Kumar” film, entitled “A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas”, is moving quickly with a script already turned in.
A director is being sought now with filming aiming to kick off in June during his hiatus from the show. Kal Penn’s Washington commitments may mean the project could still fall through but it will depend upon his schedule.
Story wise he wasn’t forthcoming on details other than “we catch up a few years later in Harold and Kumar’s lives”, the story takes place over the holiday season and the intent will be to honor/spoof holiday movies. Neil Patrick Harris is supposed to be in it and the project will get a theatrical release.
As for the “Star Trek” sequel, they are apparently still working on the script and he hasn’t heard anything about the villain yet.
