Scarlett Johansson is tipped to star as the female lead in David O. Russell’s “Old St. Louis” which is likely to be setup at Universal Pictures reports Vulture.
The story follows a traveling salesman (Vince Vaughn) and absentee father who finds his life changing when his daughter becomes involved in his work. Johansson would play a secretary who accompanies them on their cross-country trip.
Russell penned the script while Vaughn and his sister Victoria will produce. The $20 million will kick off filming in October.
