Joel Silver Makes Films In Berlin

Producer Joel Silver has signed a five-year, fifteen-pic co-production pact with Germany’s Studio Babelsberg reports Variety.

The films will be produced under the Dark Castle Entertainment label and be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.

Silver produced the films “Speed Racer,” “Ninja Assassin” and “V for Vendetta” which all used the facility, as have other upcoming productions like “The Reader,” “Valkyrie” and “The International”.

The first film will shoot in Berlin in the Spring.
