Jessica Chastain Up For Sorkin’s “Game”

Jessica Chastain has been offered the lead role in Aaron Sorkin’s upcoming project “Molly’s Game” which will mark the acclaimed helmer’s directorial debut.The Wrap reports that Chastain is interested and has received the offer, but has yet to accept or decline let alone begin negotiations.

The story follows a woman’s journey from world-class skier to Los Angeles cocktail waitress to ringleader of one of the most exclusive poker games in town. Sorkin wrote the script himself, while Mark Gordon and Amy Pascal will produce.

Chastain has a busy schedule with gun control film “Miss Sloane” having just begun production, “The Death and Life of John F. Donovan” on the way and promo rounds for “The Huntsman Winter’s War” and “The Zookeeper’s Wife” also on her schedule.
