Jeremy Irons has scored the final key role in the upcoming GFC-themed indie drama “Margin Call” reports The Press Association.
The story follows eight people working at a large investment bank when the financial crisis hit the US. Over the course of a day they try to hang onto their careers as fortunes are lost all around them.
Irons plays the bank’s CEO. Kevin Spacey, Demi Moore, Zachary Quinto, Paul Bettany, Simon Baker, Carla Gugino and Stanley Tucci also star.
J.C. Chandor makes his directing debut and wrote the script while Quinto will produce with Neal Dodson, Joe Jenckes, Corey Moosa, Michael Benaroya and Robert Ogden Barnum. Filming is currently underway in New York.
