Four-time Eisner Award winner Jeph Loeb is set to exit Marvel Television before the end of the year reports Deadline.
The exit was expected following the recent appointment of Kevin Feige as chief creative officer for all of Marvel including its television division.
Marvel Television itself, which spearheaded the likes of ABC’s “Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.” and “Agent Carter” along with the various Marvel shows on Netflix, Hulu and Freeform, has been sidelined in recent years with many of its shows either cancelled or closing up shop.
Marvel Studios, who handles the films, is taking over the TV reigns for the various upcoming Disney+ shows which will far more heavily tie-in to the MCU than the previous Marvel TV efforts did.
When Loeb will officially leave the company is still fluid, but Loeb is reportedly not averse to offering his talents elsewhere in the near future.
