Jennifer Garner and producing partner Juliana Janes have signed a first-look deal with Warner Bros. Pictures for their Vandalia Films banner says Variety. Their slate includes:
3 Days in Europe: Based on the graphic novel, the romantic adventure follows a couple as they face danger and excitement on what was supposed to be the perfect Valentine’s Day vacation. Hugh Jackman and Garner are attached to star.
Be With You: A remake of the Japanese supernatural drama which Allan Loeb is penning. The story centers on a woman who, after dying, returns for a brief second chance to figure out her purpose.
Arranged: Penned by Allan Loeb, polished by “Grey’s Anatomy” scribe Krista Vernoff and directed by Gary Winick. The story chronicles a modern-day arranged marriage of an unlikely couple whose fathers are friends from the old country.
Devil in the Junior League: An adaptation of Linda Francis Lee’s novel written by Kate Kondell, which tells the story of a stuffy, Southern socialite whose husband disappears with another woman and the wife’s fortune.
Sabbatical: The story revolves around a couple in their seventh year of marriage who decide to take a two-week sabbatical from each other to inject some life back into their union. John Brownlow penned the script.
The Garden of Last Days: Based on a forthcoming book by Andrew Dubus III (“House of Sand and Fog”). Garner may star, but no writer has been set.
Garner is currently filming New Line Cinema’s “Ghosts of Girlfriends Past” opposite Matthew McConaughey, and will follow that up with Ricky Gervais’ comedy “This Side of the Truth”.
