Jennifer Aniston Defends NFL Stars In “Fixer”

Fox 2000 has acquired “The Fixer,” a film starring Jennifer Aniston as former Miss USA contestant Denise White who rose to the top of the male-dominated world of professional sports management.

“Dallas Buyers Club” screenwriter Melisa Wallack created the pitch for the project which the studio acquired, along with White’s life rights and a Men’s Journal article “The Woman Who Bails Out The NFL’s Bad Boys”.

White became famous for establishing herself as a unflagging defender of her high-profile clients when their public images were in serious jeopardy.

There has been very early preliminary talks about James Gray possibly directing, but that seems too early to call. Aniston, Kristin Hahn, Steve Barnett and Bernie Goldmann will produce through Echo Films.
