Actor Jeff Daniels could be re-teaming with his “The Newsroom” collaborators Aaron Sorkin and Scott Rudin for the upcoming Steve Jobs biopic at Universal Pictures.
Daniels is considered a top choice for the key supporting role of former Apple CEO John Sculley in the film which Sorkin penned and Rudin is producing. Michael Fassbender is slated to play late Apple co-founder Jobs, alongside Seth Rogen as his close confidante and co-founder Steve Wozniak.
Daniels does not have an official offer yet, but it’s expected to happen soon. Danny Boyle directs the project and Mark Gordon, Guymon Casady and Christian Colson are producing.
