“Jeepers,” “Troopers” & “Pets” Sequels Set Dates

Several release dates have just been announced, and surprisingly all of them are sequels.

First up, Bloody Disgusting confirms that “Jeepers Creepers 3” is set to score a limited release next month. Clocking in at 100 minutes, the film will hit September 26th with an announcement (and likely trailer) imminent.

Next, co-founding member of Broken Lizard Steve Lemme tells Seven Days that the sequel to the comedy troupe’s cult hit “Super Troopers” has a release date set. While he can’t officially say it, he’s very obviously referring to April 20th 2018:

“I can’t tell you what it is. Here’s what I can tell you: It’s springtime and there’s a very obvious date, which happens to fall on a Friday this year. It’s going to be our widest release. And it’s testing better than any movie we’ve tested. It came out fantastic.”

Finally, Universal Pictures has locked down a new June 7th 2019 release date for the sequel to the animated family comedy “The Secret Life of Pets”.
