“Vicky Cristina Barcelona” and “Skyfall” actor Javier Bardem has scored two new roles.
The first is the lead in “Margin Call” director J.C. Chandor’s “A Most Violent Year” which begins filming this Fall in New York. Details on the plot are unknown, other than Bardem will be playing a good guy for a change.
Bardem will also join Sean Penn in Pierre Morel’s “The Gunman” from Studio Canal and producer Joel Silver.
An adaptation of Jean-Patrick Manchette’s “The Prone Guman,” Penn plays an international spy attempting to clear his name in order to save himself from the organization he once worked for.
