Jason Liles, who did the motion capture work as George the albino gorilla in the Dwayne Johnson-led “Rampage,” has been revealed as a cast member of the already shot “Godzilla” sequel.
The Wrap reports that Liles has been cast as the three-headed King Ghidorah in the film, in fact he’s one of several motion-capture actors to play the role of the armless three-headed winged dragon with golden scales.
In the new sequel, he’ll appear alongside other classic movie monsters from the franchise including Rodan and Mothra. Michael Dougherty helms the film which he co-wrote with Zach Shields. Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Thomas Middleditch, Zhang Ziyi, Bradley Whitford, Charles Dance and Aisha Hinds star while Ken Watanabe and Sally Hawkins reprise their roles from the first film.
“Godzilla 2” opens in cinemas on March 22nd next year.
