James Ransone Is Eddie In “IT: Chapter Two”

James Ransone (“The Wire,” “Ken Park,” “Tangerine”) has scored the role of adult version of Eddie in “IT: Chapter Two” at New Line.

Jake Dylan Grazer memorably played the role of the nervous hypochondriac young kid, one of the key members of the Losers’ Club of kids.

The sequel portrays the kids, who were tormented by Pennywise, as adults who are forced to return to Derry nearly thirty years later to confront the horror of their youth.

Ransone joins a cast that includes Jessica Chastain as Beverly, James McAvoy as the defacto leader Bill, and Bill Hader as foul-mouthed Richie. Bill Skarsgard also returns as Pennywise the Clown. The key roles of Ben, Stan and Mike have yet to be cast.

Andy Muschietti helms the film which will shoot this Summer in Toronto.
