James Coyne To Pen “Sherlock Holmes 3”

James Coyne (“Puncture Wounds,” “Vikingdom”) has reportedly been brought on as writer on the script for the third film in Guy Ritchie’s “Sherlock Holmes” action-adventure series.

At last report “Iron Man 3” screenwriter Drew Pearce was hired to work on a screenplay, whether Coyne is just polishing or starting over is unclear at this time.

Both Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law are expected to reprise their roles of Holmes and Watson. Downey suggested last week that filming could begin later this year, but there’s no confirmation of that at this time.
