James Bond – License To Sit and Wait

No surprise at all. Not long after Peter Jackson said work on “The Hobbit” was essentially on hold until the MGM situation is sorted out, “James Bond” series producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli have said pretty much the same thing about the next 007 movie.

The Associated Press says that work on the film by EON Productions has been “halted indefinitely after MGM failed to find a buyer.” As of Monday the producers have no idea when work will resume.

Star Daniel Craig says he has confidence in the producers and looks forward to production resuming. At last report the production was gearing up for a shoot at the end of the year for release November 2011. An extended delay could push back both the filming and release dates.
