Jack Huston has dropped out of the reboot of “The Crow” franchise due to scheduling issues.
The project is currently in pre-production in Wales and filming was slated to begin in a few weeks, meaning the”Boardwalk Empire” star’s exit is unfortunate. Nicholas Hoult and Jack O’Connell are reportedly being eyed as potential replacements, whilst Forest Whitaker is currently in negotiations for a supporting role.
Director Corin Hardy says in a statement: “Jack Huston is unfortunately unavailable to continue with us on The Crow. ‘The Crow’ is an amazing project, and I am grateful that we have the time and patience to get it right. We look forward to unveiling our new lead and starting to film over the next several weeks.”
Huston is hardly the first actor to drop out of the project as Luke Evans was originally slated to star for some time until he had to leave due to scheduling issues.
