“You Don’t Know Jack” scribe Adam Mazer and produce Steve Lee Jones are set to re-team in the same capacities on three further projects says The Hollywood Reporter.
Mazer is finishing up the script “DeLorean”, an authorized biopic about controversial car mogul John DeLorean. This is NOT to be confused with the two other DeLorean biopics in the works, one to be produced by Michael Menchel and the other by Brett Ratner. It is also the only one based on rights from many key players including his last wife, younger brother, former assistant, the DeLorean estate and several lawyers who rep the auto manufacturer.
He will follow that with “Rube” which deals with the late Reuben Sturman, the man in the 50’s who introduced girlie mags, Euro-porn and peep shows to America. The billionaire got into business with New York organised crime and died penniless.
Also at an early stage is “Contingency” about less-than-successful 70’s-era lawyers who became rich and famous for being amongst the first in their profession to advertise their services.
