J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions has acquired the rights to “The Twilight Zone” creator Rod Serling’s unproduced final screenplay “The Stops Along the Way” for Warner Bros. Television to produce.
The adaptation is being planned as an event miniseries. Story details are unknown, as is the specific roles that Abrams will have on the project.
If picked up, it would be the fifth series Abrams’ will be involved in next season alongside “Revolution,” “Person of Interest,” “Almost Human” and “Believe”.
