One of the more high profile films at this January’s Sundance Film Festival, Rodrigo Cortes’ “Buried” may now be getting some reshoots reports Bloody Disgusting.
The film follows a U.S. contractor (Ryan Reynolds) in Iraq who awakens to find he is buried alive inside a coffin with only a lighter and a cell phone for help. Almost all of the movie is spent entirely within the coffin in question which is one of the more unique things about the feature.
The site says that distributor Lionsgate has scheduled some additional photography that will “add a bit of story to the ‘exterior’ sequences”. The film remains on track for a platform release kicking off September 24th.
