We’re still around two months away from the release of Marvel’s “Doctor Strange” film, a movie that features several characters with mystical powers including Strange himself (Benedict Cumberbatch), his mentor The Ancient One (Tilda Swinton), fellow sorcerers Karl Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor) and Wong (Benedict Wong), and the film’s villain Kaecilius (Mads Mikkelsen).
Turns out that the film might also feature another familiar face to fans of the comics, albeit only a brief cameo more than anything. That Hashtag Show reports that Jericho Drumm, better known as Brother Voodoo, will have a very brief cameo appearance in the movie.
The character’s brother, Daniel Drumm, already appeared in the Doctor Strange prelude comic book that was released last month – a comic that teased Brother Voodoo. Now the outlet says: “Daniel Drumm’s brother, Jericho, better known as Brother Voodoo will be making a small cameo in full costume. However, it seems as if it will be a very brief scene, and unless you’re looking for it, you could miss it.”
They also indicate that Tina Minoru, who appeared in the prelude comic, will have a cameo role in the movie as well. In the comics Brother Voodoo takes over for Stephen Strange as the Sorcerer Supreme at one point, while Tina Minoru is a powerful user of the mystic arts and founding member of the organization The Pride.
“Doctor Strange” opens in cinemas on November 4th.
