Will Poulter (“We’re The Millers”) is set to lead the cast in Adam Randall’s film adaptation of Kevin Brooks’ superhero novel satire “iBoy”.
Poulter will play an average London teenager who gains special powers when a violent encounter with thugs leaves fragments of a shattered smart-phone embedded in his brain – giving him superpowers.
He sets out to take revenge on the gang that assaulted him and the girl he loves. Joe Barton adapted the script and filming begins in February.
Gail Mutrux, Emily Leo, Oliver Roskill and Lucan Toh will produce.
