Mostly a condensed reworking of existing footage, a new international trailer for David Ayer’s “Suicide Squad” film takes on a more Joker-centric feel along with exploring the carnage created by the bringing together of all these various villains. There’s also a couple of new shot squeezed into it, so check it out below.
The film’s director David Ayer recently spoke with DC Vertigo Daily about Jared Leto’s performance as The Joker, saying that much of the crew basically had to be reminded to keep doing their jobs because they kept stopping to watch him:
“What Jared has done is absolutely incredible. When he steps onto the set the world stops. Everything stops. What he’s done is so powerful, so menacing, and so palpable, you can feel him. The crew stops working and just watches him. I have to get everybody going again because he’s so fascinating.”
The film is slated to open in cinemas in August:
