The end of last week didn’t prove very lucky for various film crews around the globe.
Of course its now old international news that Nicole Kidman’s car had a minor accident during a chase scene being filmed for “The Invasion” in London late last week.
Not so widespread is that just hours before that incident, Bruce Willis was injured on the set of “Live Free or Die Hard” during a fight scene.
Willis was kicked in the forehead and only temporarily hospitalized for his injuries according to The Post Chronicle. Despite a laceration near his right eye, Willis was back to work soon after.
Finally further official details have come out about the accident on the set of the Hayden Christensen-led sci-fi thriller “Jumper”.
Set dresser David Ritchie was pronounced dead on the scene after a large piece of frozen sand and gravel fell from the top of a wall at an outdoor set that he and three crew members were dismantling in frigid winter temperatures reports the trades.
Another crew member was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and kept overnight for observation.
Filming in Canada had already wrapped the previous Friday on the project, the rest of the crew is currently at work in Tokyo.
