It’s a new year, and with it comes various new films set to get underway on filming in the next few months.
Til now arguably the most high profile shoot for film buffs in 2007 was looking to be “The Dark Knight”, that news changed over the weekend however.
Seems that George Lucas himself revealed at the recent Rose Parade that Friday that filming of the long-awaited “Indiana Jones” movie will begin next year (isn’t that what he always says?).
In an AP report that went up Friday afternoon, it’s revealed that Lucas and Steven Spielberg recently finalized the script for the film and that Harrison Ford is confirmed to be starring again.
Exact film locations have not been decided yet, but Lucas said part of the movie will be shot in Los Angeles.
Lucas has kept pretty quiet about the plot, but said the film will be a “character piece” that will include “very interesting mysteries.”
The fourth chapter of the “Indiana Jones” saga will hit theaters in May 2008, many guessing it to be the big release for the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
