IFC Picks Up Krasinski’s “Hideous Men”

IFC Films has acquired U.S. rights to “The Office” star John Krasinski’s directorial debut “Brief Interviews With Hideous Men”.

Based on the book by David Foster Wallace, the dark comedy stars Julianne Nicholson as a graduate student interviewing a series of men for her thesis project.

Krasinski plays an interview subject alongside Will Arnett, Dominic Cooper, Bobby Cannavale, Timothy Hutton, Christopher Meloni, Max Minghella and Ben Shenkman.

The film premiered at Sundance in January and was produced by Krasinski, Eva Kolodner, Yael Melamede and James Suskin.

A theatrical and VOD bow will take place on September 25th.
