Indie film distributor IFC Films will launch its own SVOD service dubbed IFC Films Unlimited.
The video-on-demand service will comprise initially of at least several hundred theatrically released and award-winning titles that were previously released through the company’s distribution labels like IFC Films, Sundance Selects and IFC Midnight.
Titles include the likes of “Y Tu Mama Tambien,” “The Trip,” “Certified Copy,” “Gomorrah,” “Two Days, One Night,” “45 Years” and “The Babadook” along with multiple Cannes Festival winners. The selection will be routinely updated.
IFC currently has deals in place with Hulu and Showtime for the first pay television window, and those deals will continue to be honored. IFC Films Unlimited will launch on Amazon Prime Video Channels very soon with a monthly price of $5.99.
