Jack Huston (“Ben-Hur”) and Cameron Britton (“Mindhunter”) have scored the lead roles in the second season of the anthology series “Manhunt” from Lionsgate Television and Spectrum.
“Manhunt: Lone Wolf” will chronicle the search for the 1996 Atlanta Olympics Bomber and the media firestorm that consumed the life of innocent minimum-wage security guard Richard Jewell in its wake.
Huston will play Eric Rudolph, the criminal mastermind and master manipulator behind the deadly Centennial Olympic Park bombing who evaded authorities for years.
Britton will portray Jewell who discovered and put his life on the line to save people, before ultimately being falsely accused of planting the bomb himself. Richard takes on both the Media and the FBI, fighting to clear his name.
The core creative team behind the first season, the Paul Bettany and Sam Worthington-led “Manhunt: Unabomber” which aired on Discovery, return including executive producer John Goldwyn and writer/executive producer Andrew Sodroski. Michael Dinner will also executive produce.
