Hurt, Balaban Join The “Condor” Series Remake

William Hurt, Bob Balaban and Leem Lubany have joined the cast of the upcoming Audience Network series “Condor” based on Sydney Pollack’s 1975 political thriller “Three Days of the Condor”.

Max Irons plays a young CIA analyst whose idealism is tested when he stumbles onto a terrible but brilliant plan that threatens the lives of millions. Mira Sorvino, Brendan Fraser, Kristen Hager, Angel Bonanni, Christina Moses, Katherine Cunningham, Gabriel Hogan and Kristoffer Polaha also star.

Hurt will play Bob Partridge, a decorated but rusty CIA field operative. Balaban will play Reuel Abbott, a brilliant and exacting man who has risen to the top tier of CIA management. Leem Lubany will play Gabrielle Joubert, the Special Forces operative memorably played by Max von Sydow in the original.

Written by Jason Smilovic and Todd Katzberg, Smilovic also serves as showrunner and Katzberg executive produces alongside David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Larry Trilling and Marcy Ross.
