Hulu is currently developing two TV series adaptations of John Grisham novels – “The Rainmaker” and “Rogue Lawyer”.
The two companion series are being designed to work as both standalones or to be viewed simultaneously, with the storylines of each project to intersect at points, including sharing characters. Viewers can choose to watch one or both series by bouncing back and forth between the two shows.
Michael Seitzman and Jason Richman will pen and executive produce both. Grisham and Christina Davis will also executive produce the projects which hail from ABC Signature Studios.
The news comes as Grisham’s true crime doco series “The Innocent Man” is scheduled to debut on Netflix next week.
