Hulu has cancelled its Jeffrey Donovan-led drama series “Shut Eye” after two seasons, the move coming shortly after the Hugh Laurie-led drama “Chance” was also shut down after two rounds.
Donovan and KaDee Strickland starred in “Shut Eye” which followed a fortune-telling parlour franchise operator who suddenly starts experiencing visions that may or may not be real.
In better news, USA Network has renewed the legal drama “Suits” for an eighth season with regulars Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle both departing the series at the end of its seventh season. The second half of the seventh season is set to premiere March 28th.
Series creator Aaron Korsh is set to return for the eighth season with stars Gabriel Macht, Sarah Rafferty, Rick Hoffman and new series regular Dule Hill.
