Hugh Jackman Receives A “Bad Education”

Hugh Jackman is in talks to star in “Thoroughbreds” director Cory Finley’s new film “Bad Education” for Automatik and Sight Unseen.

Mike Makowsky (“I Think We’re Alone Now”) penned the story which is said to have a darkly comic “Election” tone and is based on true events that Makowsky experienced at his high school.

Fred Berger, Eddie Vaisman, Julia Lebedev, Oren Moverman and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones of Automatik will produce. Jackman can be seen next in “The Front-Runner,” based on the true story of American senator Gary Hart’s presidential campaign in 1988.
