Hudson & McConaughey In Foul Remake?

Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey are teaming for a third time it would seem.

Hollywood Backwash says that Hudson has confirmed that she and her “Fool’s Gold” and “How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days” co-star plan to reunite in a remake of the 1978 comedy thriller hit “Foul Play” which starred Chevy Chase and her mother Goldie Hawn.

Hawn starred as a divorcee who becomes reluctantly embroiled in an elaborate scheme involving the assassination of the Pope during a papal visit to San Francisco.

The film utilized many memorable elements including an albino assassin, a pushy dwarf salesman, Dudley Moore playing a sleazy musical conductor with a closet full of sex toys, Burgess Meredith as a kung fu fighting landlord, a pretty cool car chase, and a tense finale set around a rather disastrous stage production of The Mikado.
